Local GenFed Credit Union provides “soleful” gift
Employees at the local GenFed Credit Union in Bryan have “adopted” the folks at Quadco as the recipients of their yearly project, “Warm the Soles.”
They warmed the soles of their feet gathering items from area merchants. Then they put together some gift baskets, such as a basket for ladies full of shampoo and lotions as well as another basket great for enjoying a leisurely night of entertainment at home complete with plenty of chocolate!
The baskets were put on display at the credit union and a raffle was held with the proceeds going to Quadco. When all was said and done, they raised $140!!
Their donation will be placed in the Quadco Consumer Services Fund and will be used for things like the summer picnic, awards day and the annual Christmas party everyone enjoys attending.
