Quadco celebrates grand opening, ribbon-cutting at Mama DeLuca’s Pizza Now! store
A grand opening was held for Quadco’s Mama DeLuca’s® Pizza Now! store in Stryker on Friday, August 28.
Bruce Abell, Quadco Executive Director (left from center with scissors) and two Quadco workers, Erica Yosick to the left of Mr. Abell and Anna Randolph on his right, joined a crowd of people as they cut the ribbon for the grand opening of the restaurant.
Mr. Abell said he was glad to see that the community of Stryker was welcoming the new pizza shop just as they had the SUBWAY® Restaurant the center opened over 3 years ago.
 “We are very pleased with the way the store came out. The décor is warm and inviting, fully complimenting the SUBWAY® Restaurant. And a real plus is the expanded dining area that gives more people the opportunity to sit down and enjoy the food on the menu.
Mr. Abell said that the pizza shop serves as both a restaurant for the Stryker area as well as a food service training program for the individuals with disabilities being served by the rehabilitation center, just like their SUBWAY® Restaurant does.
“We know there are a lot of pizza and sub shops in the area. It is our hope that the individuals who receive training and work in our Mama DeLuca’s® restaurant will find jobs in similar stores around the area,” Mr. Abell said.
The store features 12-inch cheese or pepperoni pizzas ready when people walk in the door for just $4.99 each! Other toppings may be ordered and other sizes are also available.
There are also deluxe pizzas available, like the thin crust pizzas and the Big DeLuca, a deep dish pizza with up to 2 pounds of toppings!
Aside from pizzas, the restaurant also features garlic breadsticks, cinnamon breadsticks, and regular and hot chicken wings!
In conjunction with the grand opening, the Stryker Mama DeLuca’s announced the new Sunday pizza buffet for $5.99 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Mama DeLuca’s® Pizza Now! is a co-brand of SUBWAY® Restaurants and is a relatively new addition to the chain. Quadco’s store is the fifteenth Mama DeLuca’s® Pizza Now! to open in the United States.
The Mama DeLuca’s® Pizza Now! restaurant is located next to the SUBWAY® Restaurant in Stryker.
The Mama DeLuca’s® Pizza Now! restaurant in Stryker is open every day from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Orders may be called in for pickup at 419-682-9019. Patrons may also use the drive-up window that they have been using for the SUBWAY® Restaurant to pick up their pizza orders placed ahead of time or for the pizzas that are ready and waiting.
