Stryker SUBWAY® Restaurant helps reading time soar!
The Stryker SUBWAY® Restaurant joined with the teachers and students at the Stryker Elementary School to promote extra reading. During the Right to Read Week, November 12-16, the elementary students were challenged to read an extra 15 minutes each day. Students who completed the challenge were given a balloon and joined the rest of the students at the school track on Friday, November 16, to launch their balloons. At the end of the day each student was given a Right To Read Certificate entitling the student to a free kid’s pack meal when presented to the Stryker Subway Restaurant.
Joined by SUBWAY® mascot Subman, several hundred students cheered as they watched their balloons sail high into the sky. The Stryker SUBWAY® Restaurant, owned and operated by Quadco Rehabilitation Center, congratulates all the students who participated in the Right to Read Week challenge. Stryker Subway Restaurant is pleased to join with the Stryker Local School to promote the development of reading skills for young students in Stryker.
